UChicago at Climate Week

The Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth at the University of Chicago strives to provide students with real-world experiences in the climate and energy fields. That’s why the Institute is proud to have sponsored a group of UChicago College students to attend Climate Week NYC each September. Attending events across New York City, students have the opportunity to hear from global leaders, attend cutting-edge industry discussions, and network with established and upcoming leaders in their fields.

About Climate Week

Climate Week NYC is a world-leading global climate event, bringing together leaders from the world of business, tech, politics, academia, and civil society. The Institute’s first delegation attended Climate Week events and exclusive UChicago programming from September 22-24, 2025.

Applications

Applications to join the 2026 student delegation to Climate Week NYC are now open! Only current rising 2nd- or 3rd-year undergraduate students at the University of Chicago are eligible to apply. Applications are due June 30, 2026.
