Degree Programs

Beginning in Fall 2025, undergraduate students may enroll in a distinctive new major or minor in Climate and Sustainable Growth. The major/minor is the first degree program under the Chicago Curriculum. A new one-year MS degree, the Master of Science in Climate and Energy Policy, will welcome its first cohort in Summer 2026.

Climate and Sustainable Growth Major

The major is the first degree program anchored in the Chicago Curriculum on Climate and Sustainable Growth.

Climate and Sustainable Growth Minor

UChicago undergraduate students may declare a minor in Climate and Sustainable Growth beginning in Fall 2025.

Master of Science in Climate and Energy Policy

The MSCEP is an 11-month professional degree that will welcome its first cohort in Summer 2026.
