Attendee, Climate Week NYC 2026
Mateo is a Sophomore in the College studying Economics and Molecular Engineering. He was a 2025 NOAA Young Changemakers Fellow and this summer he is interning at an early stage startup, Clear Solar Corporation, that makes electrodynamic dust shields to mitigate solar panel dust soiling. He’s an experienced website and media creator and is building programming and modeling skills. Last year, he co-founded a new Ecological Economics group that is working to help adapt economies to the growing reality of climate change impacts and Earth’s finite resources through data analysis.
