What role does pollution data play in shaping narratives around air quality? How can communities and governments use data to drive action on air pollution? The Data to Action Webinar Series seeks to answer these questions.
On August 7, Christa Hasenkopf, Director of EPIC’s Clean Air Program, and Abid Omar, Founder of the Pakistan Air Quality Initiative and an EPIC Air Quality Fund Awardee, had a conversation on how to successfully engage communities to demand clean air and drive policy change. Omar presented the challenges and successes of Pakistan Air Quality Initiative, a community-driven effort to improve air quality data and awareness in Pakistan.
