Climate Frontiers

Our annual Climate Frontiers: Energy and Climate at UChicago is a day-long program of special events demonstrating the scale and breadth of the University’s activities on energy and climate change. The slate of events includes a Climate Showcase and Student Poster Session that highlights the field-defining research already underway at UChicago; a Plenary Session highlighting the Institute’s unique role in advancing core research areas central to addressing climate change; and a Climate & Energy Career Fair, including specific career panels in clean energy, policy, and finance, that allows students to better understand the diverse climate and energy career paths.

The inaugural Climate Frontiers 2024 commemorated the launch of our Institute.

The Climate Showcase is a key component of Climate Frontiers, and a major point of interest for students studying energy and climate. It is also the signature event for University of Chicago organizations to recruit prospective members, interns, fellows and employees.
