“I’m a global studies major, so I was really interested in development. That’s why I steered more towards [a project in] Nigeria. It was really interesting to do a deep dive into a country that I don’t know much about, and also into solar energy systems in a way that, as a humanities student, I don’t really have the chance to. I definitely learned a lot about agrivoltaics, and also what it takes to provide sustainable energy.”
