Vikram Ramaswamy is a fourth year at the University of Chicago studying Political Science and Data Science (College ’25). On campus, he is the Co-President of the Moot Court Team, where he and his partner were the only college students to ever compete in (and champion) the US Law School Round of the Stetson International Environmental Moot Competition. At COP29, he’s particularly excited to engage with sustainable development principles and the treaty negotiation process.

“COP29 was an incredible opportunity to engage with international perspectives on the climate crisis and the path towards solutions. Given my interests in both law and technology, I particularly enjoyed the intersectional nature of panels, including data storage technologies and AI as tools for environmental justice. As I pursue a legal career, I am excited to leave Baku as a more well-rounded advocate.”
