Sonya Doubledee graduated from Emory University with degrees in Environmental Science and Political Science. She completed her undergraduate thesis through the ClimTransform Lab, studying disaster rhetoric in the aftermath of the 2011 Joplin tornado. At Emory, she analyzed PFAS effluent data with the EPA’s Water Enforcement Division and studied mosquito collection patterns in the Prokopec Laboratory for a Gates Foundation–funded project. In her free time, Sonya likes to crochet and read science fiction.
