Paul received his bachelor’s degree at Michigan State University in Applied Engineering Sciences with concentrations in Supply Chain and Packaging. He has worked at Owens Corning for 8 years and held positions in Supply Chain and Strategic Marketing. He currently works as Product Leader for a glass reinforcement used in applications such as wind blades and electrical grid hardware. He is pursuing his MBA in Booth’s Evening/Weekend Program and plans to leverage his learnings to help guide companies towards net zero and full circularity within the industrial manufacturing sector.

As a global Product Leader, Paul attended COP29 as a student delegate to learn more about the international decarbonization policy landscape, how it will impact sectors like fiberglass, steel, and cement, and how he can leverage findings to accelerate investments into decarbonization to support customers and the broader fiberglass composites industry.

“COP29 was a fascinating and rewarding experience. It was great getting firsthand perspectives on trends impacting the industrial manufacturing sector such as carbon border adjustment mechanisms, emissions trading schemes and circular economy from a variety of stakeholders across the globe. I also really enjoyed learning more about the foreign policy side of climate from the US COP Delegates, and getting to know other students from across the broader UChicago community.”
