Kobi Johnsson

Kobi is a fourth year in the College (’25) double majoring in Anthropology and Environment, Geography, and Urbanization. He is interested by the influence of culture on international diplomacy, and, inspired by his experience in sustainable housing policy in the City of Chicago, how diverse communities with unique values come together to work towards the common goals of development and environmental protection. At COP, Kobi is excited to explore how sustainable development can protect at-risk cultures and communities, as well as the role climate activism plays in influencing policy decisions.
