Registration is now open for the 2026 Climate Case Competition! This year’s partner is the World Resources Institute, a research leader influencing global policy.

This year’s prompt centers on renewable energy systems and policy. Participants will showcase a wide range of skills—from impact analysis to problem solving, data science, policy, renewable innovation, and supply chain strategy.

Teams of up to five students will work with graduate student mentors to develop their proposal. There are no separate divisions this year—judges seek comprehensive and innovative solutions. Teams will compete for the chance to win up to $2,500 in cash prizes.
