About the Speaker
Jake Edie is Managing Partner at RenewComm, where he leads the firm’s marketing and communications work on behalf of a wide variety of cleantech clients. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago where he teaches his “Clean Energy and the Electric Grid” course. Prior to joining RenewComm, Jake was Vice President, Marketing at Clean Energy Associates, where he managed the Marketing, Inside Sales, and Sales Operations teams. He has over 25 years of experience in energy storage, renewables, software, and consulting, and is a frequent speaker and author on clean energy topics. Jake previously spent time as VP, Business Development for lithium-ion battery integrator AllCell Technologies and managed battery supplier relationships, energy storage business development, and EPC proposal activities for energy storage and solar applications at S&C Electric Company. Jake holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Chicago, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University, and resides in Chicago, Illinois.
