India Summer Fellow, 2026
Zvi Gomez Fisher is a second-year student in the College (’28), studying Public Policy and Linguistics. He is interested in the legal and legislative solutions to climate change and studies of their implementation. His interest in the policy-oriented side of the climate solution began as an intern for the Albany Common Council, and continued at the transportation advocacy NGO Capital Streets. In addition, his research on the Sakha language and people of Arctic Siberia has made him acutely aware of the effect of rising temperatures on at-risk communities. On campus he participates in a lot of linguistics-related activities, but is looking for more opportunities in policy. In his free time, he enjoys learning languages, and is excited for the opportunity to practice his rusty Hindi.
