Alexander Antelman is a first-year undergraduate at the University of Chicago studying Economics and Environment, Geography and Urbanization Studies. He is interested in how energy systems, commodity markets, and urban infrastructure shape climate outcomes in fast-growing economies. On campus, he co-founded the UChicago Commodity Trading Club, where he helps build educational programming on energy and transition-critical commodities. Through the India Summer Fellows Program, he hopes to learn directly from Delhi and Ahmedabad and gain a grounded perspective on climate and growth tradeoffs.
