Jason Winik is a renewable energy professional with a background in energy and environmental policy, data analytics, and GIS. He’s interested in the intersection of data, policy, and climate action.
Jason is currently a development manager at RWE and oversees the progression of utility solar, wind, and battery storage assets in the Midwest. He manages cross-functional teams to de-risk assets, secure land control, permit projects, and ensure that projects meet the needs of the communities that RWE serves.
He earned a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the Harris School of Public Policy in 2022 and a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park with a focus on sustainable agriculture.
