Fellowship
Polsky Summer Policy Fellowships
A collaboration with the UChicago Institute of Politics, the Institute funds summer internships with leading organizations in climate, energy and environmental policy for UChicago undergraduate students.
Through the UChicago Polsky Summer 2026 Policy Fellowship Program, UChicago undergraduates can apply for funded, full-time summer internships at external organizations in the fields of climate, energy or environmental policy. This new summer opportunity is part of a new partnership between the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth and the Institute of Politics. The program is sponsored by the Polsky Energy Transition Leadership Academy.
Selected students will receive a $6,000 stipend for a minimum of 320 hours or at least 8 weeks of full-time work for the fellowship. All currently-enrolled University of Chicago College students are eligible to apply.
Applications for 2026 UChicago Polsky Summer Policy Fellowships are now closed.
