Zahra Suhirta is a law student at UChicago Law (’25). Before pursuing her master’s degree at the law school, she was an experienced Projects and Energy lawyer in one of the top-tier law firms in Indonesia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Indonesia.
Suhirta attended CERAWeek 2025 as a student delegate. “Having the opportunity to join the CERAWeek 2025 is truly an invaluable experience for me,” Suhirta said. “I have learned so many things about the regulatory and policy side of the current energy ecosystem, especially in knowing where we are and how we are approaching the upcoming phase of the shift towards a cleaner and greener world. While the technology and business of the world are leading the current transition phase, the key takeaway that I reflected strongly is how to fill the missing gaps of the implementation, which could further accommodate the fast-paced development of the energy transition without making the global stakeholders left behind; nor setting aside the supply and demand side of the world in catching up with the alteration.”
