Takuto is an MBA candidate with a professional background spanning finance, energy systems, and economic diplomacy. Before joining Chicago Booth, he conducted strategic research on energy markets at a bank, supporting hundreds of millions of dollars in financing decisions related to the energy transition. He also served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was involved in international economic negotiations.
