Stefanie Rothman White brings more than 15 years of experience advancing institutional strategy and implementation at the university to her role as Associate Director of Administration at the Climate Systems Engineering initiative. Most recently she served as Institute Administrator for the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering’s Quantum Institute. Previously, she led operations, strategy, and communications for the Institute on the Formation of Knowledge and held roles in communications, organizational development, and public programming in Booth, Humanities, University Communications, and the Smart Museum of Art.
Her strengths and interest include operational strategy, academic administration, financial and HR leadership, research and faculty support, organizational design, and building systems that help complex institutions thrive. Known for her collaborative leadership style, curiosity, and steady execution, Stefanie is deeply committed to the University of Chicago’s mission and to supporting research initiatives that address global challenges through sustained institutional coordination.
