2026 Climate Case Competition Finalist
Sophia is a first year Master of Public Policy student. She was a finalist in the 2026 Climate Case Competition.
“Through working on this implementation project, I had the opportunity to dive deep into the implementation or affordability aspects of solar energy in Illinois, and I found that my findings were pretty hopeful. I believe that Illinois is poised to have a successful renewables expansion… Illinois is very ambitious in their targets, and I find that to be incredibly encouraging.”
