Sian McAllister

Sian is a fourth year in the College (’25) double majoring in Economics and History with a major field of Environmental History. She is interested in environmental economics, particularly the questions surrounding how we ensure equitable development while combating climate change. Sian hopes to learn about the New Collective Quantified Goal on Climate Finance and the economic obstacles to solving this global crisis at COP, as well as how Azerbaijan, a country that is highly dependent on oil and gas exports, is transitioning.
