Mila Shulman

Mila Shulman is a rising fourth year (‘27) in the college, majoring in environmental science and minoring in Spanish. She is an assistant researcher through the Climate Systems Engineering initiative, focusing specifically on stratospheric aerosol injection. Beyond research, she is a project group leader in the Phoenix Sustainability Initiative, leading her group in the fight towards making composting accessible to students and faculty. Accessible energy and waste management strategies are driving passions for Mila, and she has designed educational youth programs on these topics for Building Bridges Inc., a nonprofit focused on STEM education for young girls. Outside of the work she does, Mila spends her free time singing, knitting, and cooking.
