Liz Villegas is an economist and Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. She specializes in macroeconomic analysis, central banking, fiscal policy, and macro-finance, with a focus on economic growth and sustainable development in emerging markets. Previously, she was a Senior Economist at the Latin American Reserve Fund (FLAR), where she led macroeconomic monitoring, sovereign risk analysis, and the development of policy frameworks for member countries. She holds a Master’s in Economics from Universidad de los Andes and a B.A. in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico.
