Key Responsibilities
BESS manufacturing strategy
• List potential storage technologies with their pros, cons and challenges
• Evaluate business case to set up BESS manufacturing in India
• Identify key Indian BESS manufacturers and suppliers.
• Map supply chain players (cell manufacturers, pack integrators, EMS providers, etc.).
• Analyze production capacities, expansion plans, and localization efforts.
• Identify requirements to set up BESS manufacturing in India
• Identify strategic opportunities aligned with ReNew’s existing asset base and market
presence.
• Recommend partnerships (OEMs, EPCs, tech startups).
• Identify roadmap to implement the same
