The Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth Environmental Frontiers Initiative is seeking a Graduate Student Project Mentor to advise undergraduate sustainability research projects under EFCampus. EFCampus brings together students, faculty, and staff to collaboratively explore and implement sustainability practices on campus. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in bridging sustainability research and operational planning, and the position includes direct access to the University’s sustainability efforts and institutional leads. The Graduate Student Project Mentor will advise two undergraduate research assistants.

The role is 10-20 hours/week for the summer and is paid $26/hour. We are looking for someone who can join the team starting June. This is a hybrid opportunity, with an expectation of working some hours in the office for meetings and the option to work remotely the rest of the hours. Applicants must be enrolled in a UChicago graduate degree program during the 2026-2027 academic year to be eligible to apply.
