About the Speaker

Julia has spent her career advancing clean energy policies in states across the country. She began her career at the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissions and continued working with state energy policy officials at the National Association of State Energy Officials, both in Washington, D.C. As a native Ohioan, she returned to the Midwest when she joined the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance’s policy team. She currently serves as Opower’s Director of Regulatory Affairs and Market Development, covering the Midwest, East Coast, and Mid-Atlantic. Midwest is best, obviously.
